Richard Armstrong has taken over the Cottage of Content and is working hard to establish his team with the local residents and visitors to the pub.

Richard’s previous experience and skills as a chef are helping him to broaden the menu and range of dining options available. Much work has also been undertaken to equip the kitchen and other facilities ahead of any planned work by Punch Taverns.

It has become very clear to the residents of Barton that Richard would like his team to be part of the local community and already they have supported the village fund raising activities.

It is pleasing to see so many locals using the Pub and attending various meetings and social gatherings. In addition, the Pub is attracting more visitors from surrounding villages and towns as the word spreads about the new team and what is on offer.

In the forthcoming weeks Richard will add more information about the pub, his team and details of the menu and other activities. Meanwhile we wish them all the very best for the future.
