Salmon Fishing in The Yemen

A highly original debut novel, not just about a project to bring salmon fishing into the highlands of the Yemen but a political satire with some very interesting characters. It realistically reflects the spin doctored political system of the Blairite government. Enjoyed by all readers. And the meeting itself was a late one, going on till midnight, singing along to Keith’s jukebox, and Jane trying to work out how to turn her attic into a bar similar to that of the Goodchilds. |
